D-Link DEM-310GT is a high-performance 1000BASE-LX single-mode SFP module. It enables full-duplex Gigabit speeds over up to 10 kilometres of distance. This SFP module type supports hot-plugging, which allows for the simple exchange of one transceiver for another without requiring to restart of the switch each time. This makes maintenance much easier and significantly reduces downtime by allowing modules to be added or deleted without disrupting the network.
